Plant Bio
Sansevieria, Mother-in-Law’s Tongue, Viper’s Bowstring Hemp
Native to tropical West Africa from Nigeria east to the Congo, the Snake Plant is a species of flowering plant in the family Asparagaceae. The Snake Plant is the perfect choice for people who are not gifted with green thumbs, since this sturdy fellow is incredibly easy to look after. He’ll help bring a dark corner to life since it tolerates low-light and only needs watering every two weeks. While it doesn’t have any particular humidity requirements, the Snake Plant commonly known as Mother-in-Law’s Tongue for it’s spikey stature, prefers life on the drier side. Finally, the pièce de résistance is the Snake Plant’s air-purifying powers, which has earned it NASA-recognition as a big player in removing toxins from its environment. It makes the perfect bedroom companion since it emits Oxygen at night.
